Crossposted from the Hermione Big Bang Author's comm for those interested in what I'm up to:

I'm up to 4300 and change in my Cedric/Hermione AU fic (Harry sacrifices himself for Cedric in the graveyard. Hermione and Cedric time travel to save him), and Harry's not even dead yet. It's looking like this fic (barring massive problems) will be WELL over 20k, and that's after I decided to narrow the scope to Cedric and Hermione's initial time traveling instead of trying to cram years 4-7 into one fic. Sequels ahoy!  I'm not sure if this installment will be a full-fledged novel, but it looks like I'll be dealing with this plot bunny for some time to come. My beta's going to kill me. Now if I could just come up with a title...

How about call the first one Time and then when you do the sequel you can call it Time Again? That's a horrible joke, sorry. Good luck with it though!

I'm actually leaning toward "Bid Time Return," but I'm not sure borrowing the title of a very famous SF novel is a good idea, even if Matheson did borrow it from Shakespere.

Were you able to find a beta for your springtime_gen fic? I feel lousy that I had to turn it down.

I did find a beta, thanks, and I completely understand why you had to turn it down.

you could call it Bidding Time Return

Thanks. That actually works really well.
