I’m not sure why I didn’t see this the first few times I read this fic, but the last scene in which Cedric tries time and again to get the Patronus just right seemed like the embodiment of Hufflepuff ideals. He kept trying again and again, while at the same time making sure to check on Luna’s wellbeing. You’ve done a fantastic job with this pairing and I love the fact that it was set in canon while still having a bit of an AU feel to it.
